Derek is one of the newest members of the Communiverse team, bringing years of experience as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist since 2019. He’s worked in both specialized charter and public schools, supporting children and young adults with speech sound disorders, language delays, AAC needs, and complex learning profiles.

He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Temple University (Go Owls!) and holds his PA state license, ASHA CCCs, and PA teaching certification for K–12 Speech & Language Impairments.
Born and raised in the Philly suburbs, Derek now lives in the city. Outside of work, he loves exploring Philly, traveling, cooking, and spending time family!
