Who do you help?
I work full-time at a public elementary school, but work at Communiverse part time. I have worked at Communiverse part time for more than half of my career. I work with preschool and school-aged students with articulation, fluency, pragmatic language, expressive language, and receptive language needs. I work with children of all abilities. I have strong evaluation skills and love learning about a new client’s strengths and needs. I love working with young children because they have such a desire to learn. I love watching their progress and their confidence grow.
How do you work?
I believe that therapy should be child-led in order to gain skills in naturalistic situations. I always praise my students for advocating for their needs and that is an area I always work on with my students. I love using pretend play in my therapy sessions.
A little about you
I enjoy this profession so much. I learn something from my clients everyday. I am always happy to help or answer any questions about your child.
Fun Fact
I love to dance and sing! I throw dance parties with my 2 daughters almost every day 🙂
