Who do you help?
As a Speech Pathologist with 16 years experience, I serve the adult population. I help people recover from Traumatic Brain Injuries, in addition to Parkinson’s Disease, Strokes, Dementia and other neurological deficits. I work to improve the lives of patients suffering from Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Aphasia and Cognitive deficits. I provide support to the families as well including disease process management and end of life hydration and nutrition training. I help individuals meet their hydration and nutrition needs, improve their ability to safely reside in their homes and engage in meaningful interactions. I love working with adults because they have fantastic stories and deserve to remain in their homes.
How do you work?
My approach to speech therapy is patient centered. My goals focus on what the patient wants and needs to live a fulfilling life. This can be centered around their hobbies (I.E., gardening). My approach brings passion and compassion to the patient and their families to help bring joy to their lives with creativity and resourcefulness.
A little about you
I am a passionate and sensitive person. I love developing a strong rapport with my patients so that they can develop a trusting relationship with me. This allows me to effectively collaborate with the patient and their family to improve the quality of their lives. I am always just a phone call away!
