Who do you help?
I work with early intervention and school-aged children. From little ones just starting to find their communication footing to students navigating language and learning differences in school. I specialize in language disorders, AAC, and making sure every child receives support in the least restrictive environment possible. Advocating for kids and families with disabilities isn’t just part of the job, it’s the part that drives me.
How do you work?
Collaboration is at the core of everything I do. I work closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams because the best outcomes happen when everyone is in it together. I currently mentor new speech therapists in the School District of Philadelphia and am an active member of SIPS, a grassroots organization fighting to ensure Philadelphia public school students have access to high-quality speech and language services. Equity and access aren’t buzzwords to me. They’re non-negotiable.
A little about you
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy staying active through hot yoga and Pilates at L.O.V.E. Yoga Studio, thrifting and repurposing vintage home décor, and cheering my favorite Philadelphia sports teams (Go Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers!)
